Residential plot owners have less paperwork to do to get the completion certificate, a set of 30 to 35 documents have to be submitted for other kinds of plots. These documents include no-objection certificates from the pollution board and the fire department, certificates related to the safety of elevators, structure of the building, labour cess registration and rainwater harvesting certificate. The Authority will examine the infringement reported by an allottee and the original plan that had been sanctioned before deputing a team of officials from the planning department to visit the site and see if all the formalities have been completed, before issuing the completion certificate.
